Hi there!

Have you ever felt like you don't belong to a specific place?

It’s like trying to fit into a Linkin Park fan club, but deep down, you’re really into Imagine Dragons. I think we’ve all been there, trying to blend in, but something just doesn’t feel right. For me, it was work.

I had this overwhelming desire to break free and build something of my own—something I could see people using, right here, right now. But, like many of us, I went through the phase where I tried to fit into what society, and even my parents, expected of me: study hard, get a degree, land a job in a big company, maybe travel once or twice a year, and eventually buy a house.

Sounds like the dream for most people, right? But for me, just thinking about it made me feel trapped. I kept asking myself, "Is this really what life is about?"

So, at 24, I made a bold move—I packed my bags and headed to Australia. I had already ticked off the checklist: a good university degree in Brazil, jobs at prestigious companies... yet none of it felt like me. What really drove me was the thought of leaving a legacy, even if it was just for a small group of people. I wanted to make an impact, to help others grow, communicate openly, and be authentic with no BS.

If you’re in a similar spot, trying to figure it all out, take some time to reflect. Think about your past mistakes, regrets, and most importantly, your goals. Don’t waste your energy on things that only give you a 2% improvement. Focus on what’s truly going to make an impact in your life—whether it’s a course, book, or even therapy.

If I could say one thing to my past self, it would be this quote: “It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking than to think your way into a new way of acting.”. In the end it's all a game played in your mind, you against your thoughts.
